Seattle, Washington: Beth Anderson demonstrates proper screen printing technique in the print studio. Supporters turned out in droves at the Screen Printing Work Party on Saturday for the Womxn's March on Seattle. Led by artists Kristen Ramirez and Claire Jauregui at the Pratt Fine Arts Center print studio, supporters were invited to come and help make positive resistance poster prints for the upcoming Womxn's March on Seattle. The march will be held on January 21, 2017 in solidarity with the national Women’s March on Washington D.C.

Join us for a Screenprinting Work Party (SWP) on Saturday, January 11th from 10am – 2pm at the Pratt Fine Arts Center print studio (yellow building at the corner of S. Main Street and 20th Ave S.).

Participants will help print posters by local artists Eileen Jimenez, Leigh Riibe, and Lynda Sherman in support of January 18th Womxn’s March on Seattle and have the opportunity to take home posters printed at the event. Screenprinting Work Parties are volunteer-run and donation based. Your donation may be your time and good cheer, a snack to share, cash, or any combination of the three.
