Our next Screenprinting Work Party will be held on Saturday, August 18th from 10am to 2pm at Pratt Fine Art Center print studio (the yellow building at the corner of 20th and S. Main St). RSVP via Facebook.
We will be screenprinting posters and tee-shirts (BYO-tee) with designs that encourage and educate about voting in the midterm elections and champion votes for diverse candidates. As the Trump administration tramples human rights, we must work to change the people in power.
When you participate in the work party, you will be able to take home a collection of prints to display in your home, your work, or around your neighborhood. We’ll also be registering people to vote and offering information about additional actions you can take to increase voter turn out.
Screenprinting Work Parties are volunteer-run, donation-based, and all are welcome. Your donation may be your time, a snack to share, cash, or any combination of the three.
We look forward to printing with you — drop in for a half hour or stay all four hours — on August 18th!
