We’re pleased to share that all the sets from Postcard Project have been distributed! With your help we printed, and distributed approximately 450 sets of 12 postcards. That’s 5,400 potential messages to our representatives advocating for women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, civil rights, affordable healthcare, and more. At just our writing parties, participants wrote and mailed over 420 postcards! People picked up sets via screenprinting work parties at Pratt, shops around Seattle and Issaquah, writing parties, via individuals at community meetings, and online.
Thanks to the generosity of many, we were able to compensate each of the nine participating artists with a stipend of $102 to thank them for their designs.
